Consider a donation to wildlife
education at MSU. Our donations are made in memory of Mark Alan Schmoll. Mark, an MSU graduate and research assistant, lost his life in the
line of duty. Married, with two young sons, Mark was tragically lost on April 9,
1998, at the Noxubee Wildlife Refuge in Mississippi, while tracking Wood Ducks. He
was 28 years old.
Mark believed in what he was doing, so much so, that he
dedicated his working life to his profession ... and, without question, his personal life
to his family and close friends.
Because of Mark's contribution to wildlife and the earth we
live on, we believe that the very least we can do is help promote some of the many
organizations so important to Mark ... MSU, Delta Waterfowl, Ducks Unlimited, South
Carolina Waterfowl Association, The Wildlife Society ...
Mark was involved in MSU / Delta Waterfowl research in
Canada and North Dakota in 1996. He is a past member and Chairman of the
Summerville, SC Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and served as a committee member for the South
Carolina Waterfowl Association.
For the betterment of our home ... please consider making a
small contribution in Mark's memory. You will be glad you did ... and we will all be
better off because of your generosity.
If you would like to make a contribution to the Mississippi
State University Mark Alan Schmoll Memorial Scholarship Fund, you will be in great
company. The contribution will be wisely used to help a student studying
Wildlife, Waterfowl and Wetlands. Please send your contribution to:
